AhlulBayt News Agency: Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Afzal Haideri, Secretary-General of Wifaq ul Madaris al-Shia Pakistan, strongly criticized the warm welcome given to the U.S. President by Arab countries. He said the reception was a clear insult to Islamic values and the dignity of Muslims.
Speaking at Jamiat al-Muntazir seminary, Haideri said it was shameful how the main supporter of the Zionist regime was welcomed so enthusiastically. He called it a betrayal of the Muslim world's unity and brotherhood.
"This visit mocked the blood of innocent Palestinian children, women, and civilians killed by Israeli forces," he said. "It shows that some governments care more about money and power than about justice."
He emphasized, "Other Muslim nations must show dignity and unite to formulate a collective plan to support Palestine. Otherwise, the same fate that befell Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria will befall them as well, one by one."
Haideri urged Muslim nations not to ignore the crimes committed by Israel. He called on them to come together and support the Palestinian cause. He warned that if they stay silent, they could face the same destruction as Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria.
He also criticized the United States for its double standards. "Once, the U.S. put a bounty on a Syrian leader. But when he helped remove a pro-Palestinian government and supported Israel, the U.S. lifted the sanctions on him. This shows that the U.S. only supports those who serve its interests — even if they are criminals. But if someone peacefully supports Palestine, they are labeled as enemies."
Haideri ended by saying, "It’s shocking that the U.S. talks about animal rights but ignores the bloodshed of Palestinians. This is hypocrisy at its worst."
